levitation

Abracadabra, a-la peanut butter sandwiches! Watch closely as I make this ordinary hairbrush leap from the floor into my hand, using only the power of my mind!

P.S. Nice shirt, huh? Click here for Wyn's alternate point of view.

wyn's redecorating service

To be quite frank, the furniture arrangement in our living room has been bugging us for awhile (call it bad baby shui). Why, for example, did Mom and Dad place this short flat bookcase against the wall, centered perfectly under the big red painting? Clearly, it belongs in the center of the room. At an odd angle. With one corner jutting into the leather chair.

welcome home committee

Just when we think our day can't get any more exciting...Daddy comes home from work! We always make sure he receives an appropriate greeting with our special two-parts-kid-one-part-dog approach. Let's see...eight feet stomping. Four hands waving in the air. One tail wagging. Three big smiles (actually four including Mom's). Yep, that'll do it.

sam came over last sunday

Oh, hello there! Where did you come from? What's that? Uh, no, we're not up to anything. We're just playing. Really. It's not like the three of us are, say, plotting future world domination or anything. No siree, not us. Just playing with this here tractor. See?

daddy's big day

Gaga Ba-ba ka Goo,
Gaga Ba-ba ka Goo,
Gaga Ba-ba ba DA-DA!!!!
Gaga Ba-ba ka Goo!

There's a reason why our first word was DA-DA.* It's because we have the best DA-DA in the whole wide world. Happy Birthday DA-DA! We love you sooooo much, and so does Mommy.

* Zak's second word, quackquack, is in the works as we speak.

zak in the box

Mom's been packing up stuff to put in storage, which means the house is filled with the coolest toys ever: boxes! They're like giant blocks, but open on one side, so they're perfect when you're looking for something to stuff your brother into. They're also pretty fun to play with, as you see me demonstrating.
One of the best things about boxes is that it seems people will always give you a few for birthdays and Christmas.

happy birthday, grandma lipsey!

Today is Grandma Lipsey's birthday, so we decided it'd be a good idea to get cleaned up in her honor. Bath time can be a blast, once Mom and Dad decide to stop trying to wash us.

Anyway, we're very excited to wish Grandma a fun birthday trip with Aunt Katherine to Spain. We're not quite sure where that is, but it's probably further than Aurora.

Bring back lots of photos, Grandma. We love you!
