old hats

Yesterday we got a huge package from Grandma and Grandpa Lipsey. It contained a bunch of Christmas presents (!) and these knit hats that Daddy wore when he was a kid long, long ago. He went absolutely nuts when he saw them; apparently they were his favorite articles of clothing ever. Here's a direct quote about the one Wyn has on (with the old Kansas City Comets logo): "I think about this hat all the time." Kinda sad, Pop. Nevertheless, we are thrilled to have these two priceless heirlooms, and we will wear them with pride. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
